Ghaziabad – A potential tragedy was averted thanks to the swift response of local authorities as a school bus from D.P.W.S School Subhanpur Baghpat encountered an unfortunate incident earlier today, August 18, 2023. The Deputy Commissioner of Police (Ghaziabad) reported that the incident was promptly addressed by the authorities, ensuring the safety of the children and driver on board.
As per the official statement, the incident came to light when Thana Tronica City received an alert through the emergency dial 112. The bus, carrying children from Mirpur Hindu, was en route to the school when an unforeseen incident occurred. A wheel of the bus overturned after encountering a pit on the road, resulting in the bus losing its balance.
In the aftermath of the incident, five children along with the driver sustained minor injuries. The situation could have been far worse, but due to the timely intervention of authorities and emergency response teams, the injuries were fortunately limited in severity.
