Shah Rukh Khan, Bollywood’s iconic superstar, will be honored with the prestigious Career Achievement Award at the 77th edition of the Locarno Film Festival in Switzerland.
Giona A. Nazzaro, the festival’s Artistic Director, praised Khan as a “Living Legend” and announced the award celebrating his remarkable career in Indian cinema.
Shah Rukh Khan will receive Career Achievement Award
The festival’s official statement confirmed that Shah Rukh Khan will accept the award, known as the Pardo alla Carriera, on August 10 at the grand open-air venue, Piazza Grande.
As part of the tribute, one of Khan’s most celebrated films, ‘Devdas’ directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, will be screened during the festival.
Fans and film enthusiasts can also look forward to a special event where SRK will participate in a conversation at the Forum Spazio Cinema on August 11, further highlighting his enduring impact and legacy in global cinema.
