Shah Rukh Khan’s much-anticipated comedy-drama, Dunki, unveils a soulful track, “Nikle The Kabhi Hum Ghar Se,” sung by Sonu Nigam, expressing the longing for one’s homeland.
In the build-up to the release of Rajkumar Hirani’s directorial venture, Dunki, the film’s promotions, known as ‘Dunki drops,’ have been creating a buzz. Today, on December 1st, the makers treated fans to a heartfelt song titled “Nikle The Kabhi Hum Ghar Se.”
Sonu Nigam lends his soulful voice to the track, composed by Pritam and featuring emotional lyrics by Javed Akhtar. The song beautifully captures the sentiment of yearning for one’s homeland, resonating with listeners.
Expressing his thoughts on the song, Shah Rukh Khan took to X (formerly Twitter) to share that the new track is an ode to home, soil, and country. He reflected on the universal experience of leaving one’s hometown, city, or country for a better life while acknowledging that the heart remains tethered to the place of origin. Khan deemed it his personal favorite from Dunki.
