  2. Fishing Harbors: The program has prioritized the development of fishing harbors, recognizing their significance in supporting the livelihoods of coastal communities. Shantanu Thakur points out that 9 fishing harbors have been developed with an investment of 620 crores, providing modern infrastructure and facilities to support the fishing industry and empower local fishermen.

Focus on Antyodaya: Shantanu Thakur attributes the success of the Sagarmala program to the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who has prioritized the upliftment of the most vulnerable sections of society.
