Randeep Hooda’s directorial venture, “Swatantrya Veer Savarkar,” made waves upon its theatrical release on March 22, 2024. However, its journey is far from over as it gears up for its digital premiere on May 28, 2024, on ZEE5 and OTTplay Premium.
The film, which delves into the life and legacy of the revolutionary freedom fighter Veer Savarkar, faced off against Kunal Kemmu’s “Madgaon Express” at the box office. Despite the clash, Hooda’s project garnered attention for its portrayal of Savarkar’s untold story.

With its arrival on ZEE5, the film promises to shed light on the lesser-known aspects of Savarkar’s life, coinciding with his 141st birth anniversary.
