The operation unfolded when the police received vital information from an informant about the presence of a cow smuggler with a significant reward on his head. The criminal was reportedly making his way to Mehdiganj from the Ramkola police station area, triggering immediate action from the authorities.
A Brave Response to Criminal Fleeing
Upon receiving the tip-off, Suman Singh, the lady police station officer of Barvapatti police station, along with her team, swiftly reached the Mehdiganj canal. When the criminal was spotted on a motorcycle, they attempted to intercept him. However, the criminal resorted to firing upon the police officers and attempted to escape on the bike.

Undeterred by the gunfire, the women police officers, including Suman Singh, Chanda Yadav, Sangeeta Yadav, Princey Pandey, and Pianka Singh, courageously chased down the criminal. As he continued to shoot at the officers, the women police team demonstrated extraordinary bravery by retaliating with gunfire, ultimately hitting the miscreant in the leg. This caused him to fall from his bike and led to his subsequent arrest.

The captured criminal was identified as Enamul, alias Bihari. He is known to have multiple cases registered against him in various districts of Uttar Pradesh, encompassing serious charges such as animal smuggling, murder, and attempted murder.
