Trisha Krishnan is an Indian actress and model born on May 4, 1983. Trisha primarily works in Tamil and Telugu movies. After winning the Miss Chennai contest in 1999, she was noticed and thus started her career in the film industry.
Trisha is often referred to as the Queen of South India for her performances across all South Indian languages. The Times of India has ranked her among the best actresses of South India.
Trisha was born into a Palakkad Iyer family to Krishnan Iyer and Uma in Chennai. She attended the Sacred Heart Matriculation School in Church Park, Chennai, and later pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) course at the Ethiraj College for Women (Chennai). She ventured into modeling by appearing in several print and television commercials.
