UP Budget 2024: Uttar Pradesh Unveils Ambitious Rs 7.36 Trillion Budget with a Vision of Ramrajya

Uttar Pradesh Budget: In a significant development, Finance Minister Suresh Kumar Khanna unveiled the eighth budget of the Yogi government for Uttar Pradesh, presenting a colossal plan amounting to Rs 7.36 trillion. The budget allocates Rs 24 billion for new schemes, reflecting the government’s commitment to holistic development.

In his speech at the Assembly House, Minister Khanna drew inspiration from the timeless ideals of Ramrajya. He highlighted the core principles of mutual cooperation, justice-based governance, zero crime, and the absence of class discrimination, aligning them with the concept of Ram Rajya.

Minister Khanna expressed that the life of Maryada Purushottam Shri Ram serves as an enduring inspiration for India and the world, urging societies to strive towards higher ideals for thousands of years. He commended Shri Ram’s commitment to honor his father’s promise, sacrificing royal splendor for exile, and firmly suppressing wickedness—an unparalleled example of royal righteousness.

The Finance Minister proudly stated that the governance of the state is inspired by the concept of Ramrajya, promoting socio-cultural, economic, and spiritual progress. He attributed the construction of the grand temple of Maryada Purushottam Shri Ram Ji in Ayodhya as a catalyst for social and cultural development, turning Ayodhya into a major global tourist center.

Minister Khanna reiterated the state’s dedication to the Prime Minister’s slogan of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas,’ with policies focused on uplifting youth, women, farmers, and the poor. He credited Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s leadership for the unprecedented improvement in law and order, emphasizing the elimination of organized crime and significant growth in the industrial sector.

Highlighting infrastructure development, Minister Khanna shared that the state received investment proposals exceeding Rs 40 trillion at the Global Investors Summit in 2023, set to generate employment for 1.10 crore people. He noted the thriving MSME sector, with 96 lakh units and an impressive Rs 2 trillion in exports by the state’s entrepreneurs.

The Finance Minister’s budget presentation showcased Uttar Pradesh’s commitment to embracing timeless ideals for societal progress, echoing the spirit of Ramrajya in its governance and development initiatives.
