On 8th of May, a tragic road accident occurred in the Barabanki district of Uttar Pradesh. The accident involved a bus and a truck, resulting in the deaths of at least 18 people and leaving several others injured. The accident took place on the Lucknow-Ayodhya highway and is believed to have been caused by the bus driver losing control of the vehicle.

Response from the Chief Minister:

Upon hearing news of the accident, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed deep sorrow over the loss of lives and extended condolences to the bereaved families.
