In a significant move to simplify the process of obtaining stamps, the Government of Uttar Pradesh has announced an amendment to the Uttar Pradesh e-stamping Rules 2013. This amendment aims to provide greater convenience to the residents of the state by enabling them to access e-stamps for denominations ranging from ₹10 to ₹100 without the need to visit a vendor.
The UP Government’s decision to amend the e-stamping rules is part of its ongoing efforts to leverage technology to enhance public services and reduce bureaucratic hurdles. By facilitating the direct acquisition of e-stamps online, the government intends to streamline administrative processes and make them more accessible to the general public.
A spokesperson for the UP Government highlighted the benefits of this amendment, stating, “To provide the facility of e-stamp to the people of the state, the UP Government has amended the Uttar Pradesh e-stamping rules-2013. Now there will be no need to go to the vendor for stamps ranging from ₹10 to ₹100.”
This development is expected to have a substantial impact on individuals and businesses alike, as it eliminates the time-consuming task of physically visiting vendors for low-denomination stamps. With the introduction of this amendment, users can now conveniently obtain the required e-stamps through an online portal, thereby saving time and effort.
