Moradabad: The Uttar Pradesh government has unveiled ambitious plans to transform Moradabad, renowned as the Brass City, into a hub of industrial and artisanal excellence. This initiative includes the establishment of an industrial and logistics park, alongside a dedicated handicraft village for artisans and a cluster for small and medium brassware units.
With an estimated investment of ₹41,000 crore, the development aims to enhance Moradabad’s infrastructure and economic landscape. The industrial and logistics park is expected to attract businesses, facilitate efficient logistics operations, and foster economic growth in the region.
The handicraft village will provide a platform for local artisans to showcase their skills and preserve traditional craftsmanship. Additionally, the cluster for brassware units seeks to bolster the production capabilities of small and medium enterprises (SMEs), promoting local entrepreneurship and employment opportunities.
The government’s strategic investment underscores its commitment to fostering industrial growth and preserving cultural heritage in Uttar Pradesh.
