UP Lok Sabha Elections 2024: In a recent announcement, the BJP revealed seven candidates from Uttar Pradesh for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Among them, Jaiveer Singh emerges as the contestant against Dimple Yadav, the spouse of Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav. Neeraj Shekhar, son of former Prime Minister Chandrashekhar and a Rajya Sabha MP, secures the ticket from Ballia constituency.
Vinod Sonkar, the incumbent MP from Kaushambi, retains his candidacy, while BP Saroj represents Machhilishahr. Paras Nath Rai will contest from Ghazipur constituency, challenging Afzal Ansari, who previously won on a BSP ticket and is now representing SP.
