PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme: The Government of Uttar Pradesh, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has disbursed the 17th installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan) scheme, providing crucial financial support to farmers across the state.
According to official sources, a total of 2.90 crore farmers in Uttar Pradesh have benefited from this installment, with ₹4,376.67 crores transferred directly to their bank accounts under the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) mechanism.
“The 17th installment of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi has been released by the central government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” stated the Uttar Pradesh government. Under the scheme, each eligible farmer receives financial assistance of ₹2,000, aimed at supplementing their income and ensuring agricultural sustainability.
The PM-Kisan scheme launched to provide income support to small and marginal farmers, has been instrumental in alleviating financial burdens and enhancing agricultural productivity across the country. In Uttar Pradesh alone, the scheme has played a pivotal role in supporting rural livelihoods and boosting the agricultural economy.
The timely disbursal of funds underscores the government’s commitment to empowering farmers and promoting inclusive growth in the agriculture sector. As the scheme continues to benefit millions of farmers nationwide, its impact on rural prosperity and economic stability remains significant.
