The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB), also known as UP Police, has announced 52699 vacancies for Constable (Male & Female) and Male Fireman posts. The detailed notification regarding these recruitments is expected to be released soon, with the UP Police Notification 2023 scheduled for publication on 15th July 2023 at the official website www.uppbpb.gov.in. Vacancies and Selection Process
The recruitment will be conducted for the posts of Constable (Male & Female) and Male Fireman. The selection process will consist of a Written Exam, Document Verification, Physical Standard Test, and Physical Efficiency Test. Candidates who successfully clear all stages will be eligible for the positions. The selected candidates can expect a monthly salary of around 30-40 thousand rupees.
Application Fee and Eligibility Criteria
Candidates belonging to the General/OBC category will be required to pay an estimated application fee of Rs 400. To be eligible for the UP Police Constable recruitment, candidates must have passed the 12th standard from a recognized school in India. It is important for applicants to review the age limit criteria as it varies based on the category. The maximum age limit for reserved category candidates has been reduced. Some of the age limits are as follows:
- For men in the unreserved category: 18 to 22 years.
- For women in the unreserved category: 18 to 25 years.
- For OBC/SC/ST (Male) candidates: 18 to 28 years.
- For OBC/SC/ST women: 18 to 31 years.
Additional age relaxation is provided, with 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates.
