The Uttar Pradesh government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, has taken commendable steps to provide employment opportunities to the youth of the state. CM Yogi recently distributed appointment letters to candidates who were selected for 1148 sub-inspector posts through the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board.
Expanding Job Opportunities:
- Distribution of Appointment Letters to Sub-Inspectors: On July 6, CM Yogi handed over appointment letters to 1148 candidates who were selected for sub-inspector positions. These appointments comprised 587 Assistant Sub-Inspectors (Clerk), 217 Sub-Inspectors (Confidential), and 344 Assistant Sub-Inspectors (Accounts). This initiative reflects the government’s commitment to strengthening the law enforcement system and providing deserving candidates with fulfilling career opportunities.
- Job Creation in Government Departments: The state government has been proactive in creating job opportunities across various government departments. In just one month, over 11,000 youths have been given jobs in different sectors. Under the mission of employment, the government claims to have provided government jobs to six lakh youths in the past six years. On Thursday, CM Yogi will hand over appointment letters to 936 selected candidates for various departments, further boosting employment prospects.
Revitalizing the Police Department:
- Recruiting for Police Department: Over the past six years, the Yogi government has successfully recruited more than one and a half lakh individuals in various positions within the Uttar Pradesh Police Department. In addition to regular recruitments, 2,500 additional appointments were made for dependents of deceased employees, ensuring support for their families. The government has also encouraged sports players by providing them with job opportunities in the police department.
- Fair and Transparent Selection Process: Since 2017, the selection process for government jobs in Uttar Pradesh has been solely based on eligibility, ensuring fairness and transparency. This approach has instilled confidence among candidates and stakeholders, assuring them of equal opportunities based on merit.
Focus on Healthcare and Civil Services:
- Strengthening Healthcare Sector: CM Yogi also distributed appointment letters to 7,182 Auxiliary Nurse Midwife (ANM) health workers and 1,442 staff nurses who were newly selected in the prestigious Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGI) in June. These appointments not only contribute to the expansion of healthcare services but also provide employment opportunities to deserving candidates.
- Empowering Civil Services: In recognition of academic achievements, the government organized a felicitation ceremony on June 9 for 23 candidates selected in the Union Public Service Commission and 95 candidates selected in the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission. These candidates were applauded under the Mukhyamantri Abhyudaya Yojana, highlighting the government’s commitment to supporting and encouraging excellence in civil services.
