The long wait for aspiring youth eager to join the Uttar Pradesh Police Force is set to conclude as the written examination for direct recruitment to 60,244 posts of Reserve Civil Police is scheduled for February 11. Approximately 25 lakh candidates have the opportunity to participate in this crucial examination. The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board has issued directives to all District Magistrates to prepare for this significant event.
Recruitment Board Chairperson, Renuka Mishra, conveyed in a letter to all District Magistrates that the examination will be conducted in a single shift across approximately 5000 centers statewide. The selection of examination centers is based on the locations of previous examinations conducted by renowned bodies such as the Union Public Service Commission, Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission, Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission, and the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board.
To streamline the process, the board has provided a list of examination centers for each district to the District Magistrates, urging them to take appropriate actions by government orders. The respective District Magistrates will oversee the written examination, with collaboration from the District Police Commissioner and Superintendent of Police.
