Kedar Valley Rescue Operation: Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has announced the resumption of the Kedar Valley rescue operation following improved weather conditions. The operation is supported by MI 17 and Chinook helicopters from the Central Government, with CM Dhami personally overseeing the efforts and ensuring comprehensive support.

CM Dhami highlighted that the Central Government, under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, is providing all possible assistance for the rescue mission. So far, 133 people have been safely airlifted and rescued as part of today’s operation, reflecting the extensive efforts being made to ensure safety.
Health Check-Ups and First Aid
The health check-ups for the rescued pilgrims are being conducted at the Gauchar helipad. If necessary, first aid is also being administered to ensure the well-being of those who have been rescued from challenging conditions.
