Uttarakhand’s Share in Central Taxes Increases by ₹2,500 Crores

Pushkar Singh Dhami, Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, announced that the state’s share in central taxes has increased by approximately ₹2,500 crores. In the original budget for the last financial year 2023, Uttarakhand’s share was about ₹11,419 crores. This figure has now risen to approximately ₹13,943 crores in the original budget for the financial year 2024.

The Chief Minister highlighted that this increase in Uttarakhand’s share of central taxes reflects the state’s ongoing development work.
