Renowned actor Sajid Khan, known for his roles in iconic films such as ‘Mother India,’ ‘Maya,’ and ‘The Singing Filipina,’ has bid farewell to the world. The actor, who was battling cancer, succumbed to the illness at the age of 70 on December 22nd. Though he had parted ways with the world on that fateful day, the news of his demise has recently come to light.
Sajid Khan was laid to rest at the Juma Masjid in Kottayam town, Alappuzha district, Kerala. His only son, Samir Khan, revealed, “He had been battling cancer for some time. He passed away on Friday, the 22nd of December.”
Samir shared that his father had relocated to Kerala with his second wife. He explained, “My father was adopted by Rajkumar Pitamber Rana & Sunita Pitamber, & he was raised by the filmmaker Mehmood Khan. After being inactive in films for some time, he was mostly involved in social service. He used to often visit Kerala, and when he liked it here, he decided to marry again and settle down.”

Due to the film’s popularity, a series was created under the same name, further elevating Khan’s fame.
