The Vice President of India, Jagdeep Dhankhar, along with Dr. Sudesh Dhankhar, is set to embark on a significant one-day tour to Belagavi and Bengaluru in Karnataka on May 27, 2024, with a packed itinerary emphasizing education and aerospace advancements.
Shri Dhankhar will kick off his visit as the Chief Guest at the Foundation Day celebrations of the ICMR-National Institute of Traditional Medicine (NITM) and the 14th Convocation of KLE University in Belagavi. This underscores the importance of traditional medicine and academic achievements in the region.
Following this, the Vice President will proceed to CSIR-NAL Belur Campus, where he will witness an exhibition showcasing components of the Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) and SARAS, highlighting India’s strides in aerospace technology. Additionally, he will lay the foundation stone for various projects at the National Aerospace Laboratories (NAL), emphasizing the government’s commitment to bolstering the aerospace sector.
The visit also includes a scheduled stop at Raj Bhawan in Bengaluru, underscoring the significance of engaging with state leadership and fostering collaborative efforts between the central and state governments.
