The Vice-President of India, Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar, is to embark on his first visit to the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir on June 22, 2023. The purpose of his visit is to attend the Special Convocation of the University of Jammu, where he will serve as the Chief Guest.
Following the convocation, the Vice-President will make a stop at Katra to offer prayers and seek blessings at the revered Holy Shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi. Additionally, he is also scheduled to visit the Jammu and Kashmir Raj Bhawan during his daylong tour.
