Bollywood film and television actor Vijayendra Ghatge is Indian. In 1986, he played Lala Vrishbhaan in the TV serial Buniyaad, which aired on DD National. He is known for his roles in Chitchor (1976), Prem Rog (1982), Devdas (2002), and Jhankaar Beats (2003), among other serials and several films.
Early life:
Ghatge is a member of the royal Maratha family of Kagal. The Maharaja of Kolhapur is thus a cousin of his. Sagarika Ghatge is his niece of him. He is married to Avantika Ghatge, who was formerly working as head of the department of Fine Arts at Daly College Indore.
Together they have a daughter Umikaa Ghatge, who studied at Daly College, Indore, and is a freelance content writer. Ghatge, who was educated at Daly College, Indore, was the Head Prefect & Sword of Honour holder (Flight Sergeant Airwing NCC). He graduated in acting course from the FTII, Pune after doing B.Com Honours (Management) from Sydenham College of Commerce, Bombay.
