In a recent incident on December 8, a video of a Mumbai cop dancing with a woman inside a local train has caused a stir on social media. The footage, recorded in the second-class ladies’ coach of a Central Railway local during the late evening, captured the attention of netizens.
The incident began when a social media influencer named Saiba shared the video on her Instagram account. The video showed the uniformed home guard, identified as SF Gupta, initially advising Saiba to maintain a safe distance from the train’s door while she danced to a song. Surprisingly, the home guard later joined in, dancing with the woman to the rhythm of the music. Fellow passengers in the coach recorded the scene.
The impromptu dance session has led to controversy, and the Government Railway Police (GRP) in Mumbai has stated that “appropriate action” has been taken against the home guard. The incident has sparked discussions online, with opinions divided on whether such behavior is acceptable from law enforcement officials. The video serves as a reminder of the impact social media can have on public perceptions of authority figures.
