CM Pinarayi Vijayan Celebrates Mothership Arrival at Vizhinjam International Seaport

Vizhinjam International Seaport: Thiruvananthapuram, July 13, 2024 – In a landmark event, Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan celebrated the arrival of the mothership San Fernando at Vizhinjam International Seaport. The project, with an investment of ₹8,867 crore, promises to create over 5,000 jobs and stands as a testament to the successful public-private partnership model.

“A monumental day for Kerala! “We proudly celebrated the arrival of the mothership San Fernando at Vizhinjam International Seaport, fulfilling the dreams of millions of Keralites,” stated CM Vijayan. He emphasized the transformative impact of this project on the state’s economy and infrastructure.

The Chief Minister extended his gratitude to Hon’ble Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal for attending the ceremony and acknowledged the efforts of Adani Ports and SEZ Ltd. “We are grateful to Hon’ble Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal for gracing us with his presence at the ceremony and to Adani Ports and SEZ Ltd for their unwavering commitment to overcoming hurdles to make this port a reality,” he said.
