A Zomato model recently stirred controversy after being spotted riding a stylish bike in Indore without a helmet, carrying a Zomato-printed box on her shoulder.
The video of the beautiful model riding without a helmet while promoting Zomato was shared on social media, generating diverse reactions from netizens.
An individual named Rajiv Mehta shared the video on social media, claiming that the “Indore #Zomato marketing head” hired a model to ride around for an hour in the morning and evening with an empty Zomato bag. The video quickly went viral.
However, Zomato’s founder, Deepinder Goyal, responded to the controversy by clarifying that the company had no involvement in the incident. He emphasized that Zomato does not endorse helmet-less biking and asserted that they do not have an “Indore Marketing Head.” Goyal also pointed out that they have many women who safely deliver food every day to support their families, and they take pride in their work ethic.
