These disturbances are likely to bring isolated to scattered light to moderate rainfall and snowfall, accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning, over Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, and Chandigarh from April 3rd to 6th.

Cyclonic Circulation in Northeast India: A cyclonic circulation over northeast Assam and a north-south trough extending from east Bihar to the north Bay of Bengal are expected to bring widespread rainfall over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, and Sikkim from April 1st to 4th. Isolated heavy rainfall is anticipated in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, and Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura on April 1st.

Temperature Observations and Forecasts: Maximum temperatures soared to 40-42°C in several regions, including Rayalaseema, West Madhya Pradesh, Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha, Telangana, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, and Yanam. Heat wave conditions are expected in isolated pockets of Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, North Interior Karnataka, and Rayalaseema from April 2nd to 4th.

Warm Night and Hot & Humid Weather Warnings: Warm night conditions are likely in isolated pockets over Odisha, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, and Telangana during April 1st to 4th. Hot and humid weather is forecasted for Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Kerala, Mahe, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, and Odisha from April 1st to 4th.
