The meteorological conditions in the Bay of Bengal are undergoing a significant shift as the cyclonic circulation over the Gulf of Thailand has now positioned itself over the South Andaman Sea, extending up to mid-tropospheric levels and tilting southwestwards with height. This atmospheric phenomenon is expected to have cascading effects, leading to the formation of a Low-Pressure Area over the Southeast Bay of Bengal within the next 24 hours. Furthermore, forecasts suggest a west-northwestward movement, with intensification into a depression over Central and adjoining South Bay of Bengal around the 16th of November 2023.
