Central India

Central India is expected to experience varying weather conditions during this period. Light to moderate fairly widespread to widespread rainfall, thunderstorms, and lightning are likely. West Madhya Pradesh is expected to witness isolated heavy to very heavy rainfall on the 16th and 17th of September. Additionally, isolated extremely heavy rainfall is expected in Southwest Madhya Pradesh during the same period. Vidarbha and East Madhya Pradesh can also expect rainfall and thunderstorms on the 16th, while Chhattisgarh should prepare for these conditions on the 19th of September.

West India

In West India, similar weather patterns are anticipated. Konkan & Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, and Gujarat Region are expected to experience light to moderate fairly widespread to widespread rainfall, thunderstorms, and lightning from September 16th to September 18th. Marathwada should brace for these conditions on the 16th, while Saurashtra & Kutch are likely to see them from the 17th to the 19th of September. Moreover, North Madhya Maharashtra and the Gujarat region can expect isolated extremely heavy rainfall on the 16th and 17th of September.

Northwest India

Northwest India is also in for some weather changes. Light to moderate fairly widespread to widespread rainfall and thunderstorms, with isolated heavy falls, are expected in Uttarakhand and East Rajasthan from the 16th to the 17th of September. Southwest Uttar Pradesh should prepare for similar conditions on the 16th. Furthermore, isolated very heavy rainfall is anticipated in East Rajasthan on the 16th and 17th of September.

East India

Moving to the eastern part of the country, Odisha is likely to experience light to moderate fairly widespread to widespread rainfall, thunderstorms, and lightning on the 18th and 19th of September. Andaman & Nicobar Islands can expect these conditions from the 16th to the 18th, with isolated very heavy rainfall on the 17th.

South India

In South India, Coastal Karnataka is expected to witness light to moderate fairly widespread to widespread rainfall, with isolated heavy rainfall on the 16th of September. Residents of the region should stay prepared for these conditions.

Northeast India

Finally, in Northeast India, Assam & Meghalaya can expect light to moderate scattered to fairly widespread rainfall, thunderstorms, and isolated heavy rainfall on the 18th and 19th of September. Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura should also be prepared for similar weather conditions from the 17th to the 19th.
