Weather forecasters are closely monitoring the movement of weather systems across India, with several regions expected to experience significant weather changes over the next five days.
A Western Disturbance, coupled with a cyclonic circulation over north Pakistan, is set to bring scattered to fairly widespread rainfall and snowfall to the Western Himalayan Region on March 3rd, 2024. This weather system will also lead to isolated to scattered rainfall over Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, and Madhya Pradesh on the same day, gradually decreasing in intensity thereafter.
Additionally, the confluence of winds at lower tropospheric levels will result in isolated rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning over Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Sikkim, and Odisha on March 3rd and 4th, 2024. There is also a possibility of isolated hailstorms over Bihar and Jharkhand on March 3rd.
Furthermore, a cyclonic circulation over Meghalaya will bring isolated to scattered rainfall and snowfall over Arunachal Pradesh for the next five days. Heavy rainfall and snowfall are anticipated over Sikkim on March 3rd and Arunachal Pradesh on March 4th. Additionally, isolated thunderstorms and lightning are expected over Assam, Meghalaya, and Nagaland on March 4th and 5th.
