Arunachal Pradesh and Sub-Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim: Expect light to moderate isolated to scattered rainfall/snowfall on the 9th of February. Similarly, Odisha may experience isolated rainfall activity on the 11th and 12th of February.
Central Parts of the Country: A trough/cyclonic circulation over central regions will result in isolated to scattered light rainfall activity in Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, and Chhattisgarh from the 10th to the 14th of February. Madhya Maharashtra will experience rainfall on the 10th and 11th, while Marathwada will witness it from the 9th to the 11th. Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Jharkhand can expect rainfall from the 12th to the 14th, and Gangetic West Bengal on the 13th and 14th.
Thunderstorms: Thunderstorms accompanied by lightning are likely over Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Marathwada, and Chhattisgarh on the 11th of February.
Coastal Regions: Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, and Kerala will experience light isolated rainfall on various dates between the 9th and the 14th of February.
Surface Winds: Northwest and East India will experience strong surface winds ranging from 25-35 kmph over the next 24 hours.
Temperature Trends: Minimum temperatures in many parts of East India are expected to remain relatively stable over the next two days, followed by a rise of 2-3°C thereafter. Thereafter, no significant change is predicted.
