Over the next five days, India’s weather outlook presents a dynamic scenario influenced by multiple weather systems. Cyclonic circulations over Marathwada and south Vidarbha will trigger isolated to scattered light to moderate rainfall, accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning activity in East Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Bihar, West Bengal & Sikkim, and Jharkhand from February 13th to 15th. Additionally, isolated hailstorms are likely over East Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Jharkhand on February 13th, with further light to moderate isolated rainfall anticipated over Odisha on February 14th and 15th, and south Uttar Pradesh on February 13th and 14th.
Simultaneously, a Western Disturbance and a cyclonic circulation over Punjab will bring light isolated rainfall and snowfall to the Western Himalayan region on February 13th. Another Western Disturbance is forecasted to cause isolated to scattered rainfall and snowfall over the Western Himalayan Region on February 17th and 18th.
In terms of temperature trends, minimum temperatures are expected to gradually rise by 2-4°C over Northwest India in the next 4-5 days. Similarly, a 2-3°C increase in minimum temperatures is likely over many parts of East India within the next 24 hours, with no significant change thereafter. Conversely, Central India is anticipated to experience no significant change in minimum temperatures over the next 4-5 days.
