The monsoon trough is active and presently positioned south of its normal course. It is expected to remain so for the next 3-4 days, driving weather systems across the Indian subcontinent. Rainfall Forecast for Southern India: Heavy Shower
Southern India is expected to experience widespread light to moderate rainfall over Coastal Karnataka, Kerala, and Lakshadweep. Heavy rains are predicted over South Interior Karnataka and Coastal Karnataka on September 11-12. Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Tamil Nadu will experience scattered rainfall throughout the week.
Heavy Rainfall in Northeast and Central India
Northeast India, including Nagaland, Manipur, and Tripura, will witness widespread rainfall with isolated hefty rainfall over Tripura, Mizoram, and Manipur on September 13.
