Rainfall and Snowfall Forecast:

  • Anticipate scattered to fairly widespread light to moderate rainfall accompanied by isolated thunderstorms and lightning across Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, and Sub-Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim regions.

  • Isolated hailstorms expected over Jammu-Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand on specific dates.
  • Isolated light rainfall projected over Punjab, Haryana, West Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, and East Uttar Pradesh.

Temperature Trends:

  • Maximum temperatures exceeding normal levels by 3-4°C forecasted for certain regions, including Vidarbha, Gujarat, Marathwada, and Northeast Madhya Maharashtra.
  • Below-normal maximum temperatures by 1-2°C predicted for states in the Indo-Gangetic plains, covering Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, and Gangetic West Bengal.
  • Hot and humid conditions expected over Rayalaseema, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry & Karaikal, Kerala & Mahe.
