The region may experience isolated very heavy rainfall over Uttarakhand and parts of Rajasthan during the week.

Central and West India

Central and West India will see fairly widespread rainfall, with isolated heavy showers over Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Gujarat. Konkan & Goa may experience isolated very heavy rainfall from August 24-26, with a similar forecast for Madhya Maharashtra.

South and Northeast India

In the southern peninsula, Kerala, Karnataka, and Lakshadweep will experience widespread rainfall, with isolated heavy to very heavy rainfall over Kerala on August 21. Northeast India, including Assam, Meghalaya, and Tripura, is likely to experience very heavy rainfall over the coming days.
