The United States is believed to be the origin country of the Alaskan Husky

Alaskan huskies are, generally, taller than Siberian Huskies, and lighter in build than Alaskan Malamutes - both of whom they share lineage with, and from whom they are descended.

This breed is an adventurer at heart and loves car rides and changes in routine. They can be willful and mischievous, and difficult to housebreak without a firm hand leading them.

Although Alaskan Huskies are loyal, they are fiercely independent and will not stick close if let off-leash.

As long as they have received plenty of socialization from a young age, huskies are mostly excellent with other dogs.

Grooming an Alaskan Husky is easy. Brush him once or twice a week to remove loose hair.

The Alaskan Husky has high needs for exercise and food and is best suited for hands-on, energetic, and experienced owners.

Average lifespan: 10–15 years

Average Size: 20–26 in (51–66 cm)

Nutrition & Feeding : Huskies' preferred diet is high in protein and they get most of their protein from meat sources.

A Husky puppy in India costs between ₹60,000 to ₹80,000 due to their exotic nature.
