17-05-2023

Bihar CM Nitish Kumar condemns Dhirendra Krishna Shastri aka Bageshwar Dham Sarkar's remark about igniting the fire of Hindu Rashtra in Bihar.

Nitish Kumar asserts that the state government does not interfere with anyone's faith and ensures that everyone has the right to worship as they choose.

Bihar minister Tej Pratap Yadav, son of former CM Lalu Prasad Yadav and RJD national president, slams Shastri for his derogatory remarks and accuses him of abusing Biharis.

Over a hundred devotees fell sick during Dhirendra Shastri's 'Divya Darbar' session in Patna, raising concerns about mismanagement and overcrowding. BJP MP Ram Kripal Yadav criticizes the state government for the incident.

The self-styled godman gained national attention when a rationalist challenged his claims of healing powers and mind-reading abilities. Shastri left the city without accepting the challenge, leading to further scrutiny and interviews defending his actions.

Shastri's controversial remarks and the incident of devotees falling sick during his event have generated criticism and raised questions about his credibility and the organization of the gathering.

When asked about Dhirendra Shastri's event, Lalu Prasad Yadav questions the godman's identity and dismisses him as irrelevant.
