JP Nadda, the BJP chief, has described 'The Kerala Story' as an exposé of a new type of terrorism that does not use ammunition.

Nadda watched "the Kerla story'' movie with young girl students at INOX, Bengaluru, along with south Bengaluru MP Tejasvi Surya.

The movie claims that 32,000 girls from Kerala went missing and later joined the terrorist group, ISIS.

The Kerala high court refused to stay the release of the movie, stating that the trailer did not contain anything offensive to any particular community as a whole.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi also mentioned 'The Kerala Story' while addressing a rally in Karnataka's Bellary ahead of the 10 May election in that state.
