The Canadian government has announced a reward of Rs 1.5 crore for any tip-off leading to the arrest of Goldy Brar.
Brar is a notorious gangster who is a member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang and is wanted for the murder of Punjabi singer and Congress leader Sidhu Moose Wala.
The Canadian government has stated that Brar represents a risk to public safety and is currently under investigation, but has not been charged with any criminal offenses in Canada.
The reward for information leading to his arrest ranges from 50,000 dollars to 250,000 dollars.
The BOLO program, which is aimed at finding and arresting fugitives, has released pictures of all 25 people, including Brar, and announced rewards for their arrest.
The high commission has stated that the offenses committed in India are very serious in nature and merit the interest of the police in Canada.
