CM Nitish Kumar Unveils Bihar Healthcare Initiative

 

Bihar CM Nitish Kumar inaugurated 214 projects worth ₹903.57 crore, including the redevelopment of Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH) and the foundation laying of 17 projects, totaling to 408.68 crore.

The second phase of PMCH redevelopment will commence in March 2024, with directives to expedite the third phase for swift project completion.

PMCH is being transformed into a 5462-bed hospital, featuring a helipad on the rooftop for air ambulances, aiming to become the country's largest hospital.

The state government is committed to enhancing healthcare facilities, consistently striving to provide better healthcare services to the people.
