Dozens Trapped as Roof Collapses at Indore Temple During Ram Navami Celebrations

More than 30 people fell into a stepwell after the roof over it collapsed at the Beleshwar Mahadev temple in Indore on Ram Navami.

Nine devotees, including two children, have been rescued and taken to a hospital.

About 25 people are still trapped inside the temple.

Police and rescue teams, along with 12 ambulances, are at the spot.

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said 10 people have been rescued so far, and efforts are on to move the others to safety.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed concern over the incident and spoke to CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan to take an update on the situation.
