ED questions Manish Sisodia again at Tihar jail, accepts K Kavitha's request
The ED has questioned Manish Sisodia, the Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi, for the second time in connection with a money laundering case.
The interrogation took place at Tihar jail, where Sisodia is currently lodged after being arrested in a separate case.
The ED has also accepted a request from K Kavitha, an MP from Telangana, for questioning in the same case.
Kavitha had earlier been summoned by the ED but had sought more time to appear before the agency.
The money laundering case is related to an alleged scam involving a Hyderabad-based infrastructure firm and its directors.
The ED had earlier arrested Manish Sisodia's former OSD, in connection with the case.
The ED has been conducting a probe into the matter since 2018 and has questioned several people, including politicians and bureaucrats, in connection with the case.
