In Norway, Geiranger Fjord is a fjord located in the Sunnmor region of Møre og Romsdal county.

The Stranda Municipality is the only location for this.

It is a 15-kilometer-long branch off the Sunnylvsfjorden, which is a branch of the Storfjorden.

The village of Geiranger is located at the end of the Geirangelva fjord.

Norway's most visited tourist sites include the fjord.

In 2005, UNESCO listed it as a World Heritage Site.

Seven Sisters Falls and the Suitor are the two most notable waterfalls in the Geiranger Fjord.

The movie The Wave from 2015 is based on the idea of a rock slide from the mountain Åkerneset that would flood the town of Geiranger.
