Government Approves 4-Lane Highway Project for Telangana

The Indian government has approved ₹1111.76 Cr for the construction of a 4-lane NH-163G highway in Telangana.

The highway will have a total length of 70.13 km and will be built under the Other Economic Corridor (NH(O)) program in Hybrid Annuity Mode.

The project is divided into two sections: Venkatpur village in Warangal district to Thallasenkesa village in Mahabubabad district and Thallasenkesa Village to V. Vekatayapalem Village in Khammam District.

The first section will have a total length of 39.41 km, and the layout will have a length of 30.83 km.

The construction of both sections will be carried out in Hybrid Annuity Mode, where the government will bear 60% of the project cost, and the remaining 40% will be arranged by the developer.

The construction of the highway is expected to boost connectivity and promote economic development in the region.
