01-04-2023

Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) registered its highest-ever revenue from operations of ₹26,500 crores (provisional and unaudited) for FY 2022-23.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated the team and appreciated their remarkable zeal and passion.

HAL's revenue grew by 8% compared to ₹24,620 crore in the previous financial year.

The company fulfilled its targets despite supply chain disruptions due to the geopolitical climate.

The order book of HAL stood at around ₹82,000 crore at the end of March 2023 after liquidation of the supplies during 2022-23.

The company received payments of around ₹25,000 crore from various defence customers in 2022-23, resulting in an improved cash flow.

HAL's contracts worth ₹26,000 crores include manufacturing deals for 70 HTT-40, 6 Do-228 Aircraft and PSLV launch vehicles.

The company's chairman, C B Ananthakrishnan, said that HAL's growth trajectory is expected to continue with new contracts in the pipeline.

HAL's achievement is significant for India's defence sector and highlights the potential for growth in the country's aerospace industry.
