Making gujiya at home is an easy process, here is how to make it in quick steps:

Start by mixing together flour and enough ghee to make a dough.

Knead the dough until it is soft and pliable.

Cut the dough using an appropriate circular cutter to make small rounds.

Stuff each round with a stuffing of your choice, such as coconut, cashews, raisins, dates, etc.

Apply a little water on the edges of the round, fold it into a half-moon shape

Heat oil in a pan, and once the oil is hot, gently add the gujiya to the oil and fry on both sides until they turn golden brown.

Remove the fried gujiyas from the pan and place the on a paper towel to remove excess oil.

Enjoy your homemade gujiya with tea or coffee!
