KCR's daughter K. Kavitha questioned by ED in Delhi liquor policy case
K. Kavitha, the daughter of Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR), will be questioned by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) today.
The questioning is in connection with the Delhi liquor policy case, which involves alleged irregularities in the allotment of licenses for retail liquor shops in Delhi.
Kavitha was a member of the Telangana assembly from 2014 to 2019 and is currently the president of the Telangana Jagruthi, a cultural organization.
The ED had earlier questioned KCR's son and Telangana Minister K. T. Rama Rao in connection with the same case.
The Delhi liquor policy case dates back to 2016 when the Delhi government had introduced a new excise policy for retail liquor shops.
The case involves allegations of corruption and irregularities in the allotment of licenses for retail liquor shops in Delhi.
The ED has already arrested several people in connection with the case, including alleged middlemen and government officials.
