Kerala Health Minister assures state's readiness to handle another Covid wave amid rising infections

Kerala has been reporting a surge in Covid-19 cases over the past few weeks.

The state Health Minister, Veena George, has assured the public that the state is prepared to handle another wave of the pandemic and has taken all necessary measures to tackle the situation.

The Health Minister has emphasized the need for people to continue to follow Covid protocols, including wearing masks and maintaining social distancing.

The Health Minister has also urged the public to strictly follow Covid protocols and to get vaccinated to prevent the spread of the virus.

As of now, the district has 406 active Covid-19 cases, out of which 13 patients are being treated in the ICU. These individuals have pre-existing health conditions and age-related health problems.
