Key Highlights: Finance Minister Sitharaman's Visionary Interim Budget in Election Year

As the Lok Sabha elections draw near, all eyes are on the Modi government, with Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presenting the interim budget.

This marks her sixth budget presentation since taking charge of the finance ministry in 2019. The budget gains heightened importance as it unfolds in an election year, transforming it into a crucial vote-on-account.

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman articulated the government's vision of making India 'Viksit Bharat' by 2047. Emphasizing the principle of "sabka sath, sabka vikas," she outlined the commitment to inclusive development.

Sitharaman outlined the government's concentrated efforts on four key demographics: the poor, women, youth, and farmers.

Finance Minister Sitharaman highlighted the significance of the PM Janman Yojana, specifically addressing the needs of tribal groups that have historically remained outside the realm of development.
