Know Your Aadhaar-PAN Link Status with These Simple Online Steps
The last date for linking the Aadhaar card and Permanent Account Number (PAN) card has been extended to June 30, 2023.
To check your Aadhaar-PAN card link status online, follow these steps:
Visit the Income Tax e-filing portal at https://www.incometax.gov.in/iec/foportal/
On the homepage, select Quick Links and then click on "Link Aadhaar Status."
Enter your PAN and Aadhaar numbers in the two fields provided.
A pop-up message will appear on the screen.
If your Aadhaar and PAN are already linked, the message will say "Your PAN is already linked to the given Aadhaar."
If your Aadhaar and PAN are not linked, the message will say "PAN not linked with Aadhaar. Please click on 'Link Aadhaar' to link your Aadhaar with your PAN."
If your Aadhaar-PAN linking request is in progress, you will get the message
"Your Aadhaar-PAN linking request has been sent to UIDAI for verification. Please check the status later by clicking on the link 'Link Aadhaar Status' on the home page "
