After attending Delhi Public School, R.K. Puram, she went on to Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, Noida where she got her degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering.
She won the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut and the IIFA Award for Star Debut of the Year – Female for her role in the film Heropanti.
